Croatia beat World Cup hosts Russia on penalties and send them back to home! Although the match ended up with a draw of 2 goals each but Croatia gave the final blow by winning the penalties by 4-3.

Modric, Vida, Rakitic and Brozovic scored the penalties from the side of Croatia which made their day while Mario Fernandes, Ignashevich and Kuzyaev scored the penalties from the side of Russia but ultimately could not win the match.
